Since we have been talking about friendships can love be far behind? We have so many examples of friends falling in love… Monica – Chandler and Rachel – Ross from Friends, Nick and Jess from New Girl and dont forget a certain Mr. Barjatia who had warned us long ago (read Maine Pyar Kiya).
So lets move onto some ‘Ishq wala love’. I love romantic movies. Romcoms are my facourite stress busters. I love all the mush, the heartbreak, the tears.. just for that moment that can melt all the ice thats there on this planet and some memorable lines.
But how do you choose that one film and even worse that one line which truly is the epitome of romance? Tough very very tough!
That its going to be a Julia Roberts movie was a given…Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Notting Hill, My best friend’s wedding…these are movies I have watched on loop..weekend after weekend. The fight was between Richard Gere and Hugh Grant though…but then Grant’s delightfully difficult to understand british accent did the magic…so Notting Hill it is!
I mean if you were to look at Notting Hill seriously… Its bizzare..a small time bookshop owner falling in love with a movie star… But then love is blind and who doesnt love a fairytale romance. Who can forget Anna asking Will for a second chance at love… “I am also just a girl, standing in front of a boy asking him to love her”…
Enough said…yes…go right ahead and watch it that umpteenth time.
So this A2Z let I Ignite that passion again😉
